Fluence Analytics Accepted into InnoSTARS Semi-finals in China

Fluence Analytics, a company specializing in industrial and laboratory analytics products, was accepted into the 2018 InnoSTARS semi-finals. InnoSTARS is organized by the U.S. China Innovation Alliance, and it is the only national platform between the U.S. and China that connects innovative companies with investors, corporations, and other partners in China.

The 2018 InnoSTARS semi-finals will take place from November 3-10 in multiple cities in China, including Beijing and Xi’an. Fluence Analytics will compete in the New Materials category for an opportunity to win a cash prize while networking with corporate executives and venture capitalists operating in the chemicals industry. In addition to the all-expense paid trip, Fluence Analytics will receive international media coverage and commercial support from the Chinese government.

Dr. Sig Floyd, VP of Global Business Development of Fluence Analytics, will represent the company at InnoSTARS. During the competition Dr. Floyd will present information on ACOMP and the company to a panel of expert judges. ACOMP is a smart manufacturing system that continuously analyzes polymers during production. The automated monitoring system produces realtime data about reaction kinetics and important polymer properties. These include monomer conversion, molecular weight, and composition. Dr. Floyd’s presentation will review the company’s progress and growth plans along with an overview of how ACOMP can help enhance yield, quality and development of novel polymeric materials in a sustainable manner.
