SOFTWARE ENGINEER

This is an entry-level role for someone seeking a career in software engineering. The successful software engineer is highly motivated, an intuitive hands-on troubleshooter, and has a passion for programming. Ideal candidates should have relevant experience via school projects or personal side projects. Exposure to automation and control systems engineering are additional potential attributes of our ideal candidate. This position, working at a fast-paced startup, is ideal for a self-motivated individual looking for a challenge to learn a variety of technologies and to become a full contributor on our team.

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

The successful field service engineer has worked on field installations, startups and commissioning of instrumentation, analyzers or other complex equipment in industrial environments. This individual is highly motivated, an intuitive hands-on troubleshooter, and is willing to go above and beyond to get things done. Experience working with customers in high pressure situations and ability to quickly solve unexpected issues is very important. Background in either instrumentation, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, automation and control systems engineering are additional potential attributes of our ideal candidate.

LIFE SCIENCE PRODUCT MANAGER

The successful Life Science Product Manager has worked with analytical instruments in product development, product management, applications, technical and/or sales support roles and preferably has worked in life science or with life science end users to develop an understanding of our customer’s needs. The Product Manager will be responsible for managing suppliers, customer relationships, and supporting sales, while continually looking for partnership and technology opportunities to develop strategy, expand the offering, and grow the business.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERN

While working with the Senior Manager of Marketing, the Business Development Intern will research and identify target companies and relevant contacts, will learn to utilize and populate the company’s CRM, and will conduct outreach via email and LinkedIn to schedule introductory calls. In addition to working for a burgeoning startup, this project will provide the intern with insight into the chemicals industry. This internship will provide valuable, practical business experience and is an ideal position for an upbeat, intelligent and curious individual with a desire to learn and overcome challenges. Interns may also be asked to support other projects such as marketing and venture financing activities. 

ELECTRICAL PRODUCT ENGINEER

Fluence Analytics is looking for an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic, full-time Electrical Product Engineer who will work closely with the Vice President of Technology and Operations and the company’s detector engineer to meet accelerating demand for the company’s products. Previous experience working in engineering and/or manufacturing of optical and fluidic measuring instrumentation and products, and associated data processing is critical. The goal is to produce optical, fluidics, and electrochemical instruments with the highest degree of reliability and data quality, with clear performance specifications.

DETECTOR ENGINEER

Fluence Analytics is looking for a full-time Detector Engineer who will work closely with the Vice President of Technology and Operations to meet accelerating demand for the company’s products. Previous experience working in engineering and/or manufacturing of optical and fluidic measuring instrumentation and products, and associated data processing is critical. The goal is to produce optical, fluidics, and electrochemical instruments with the highest degree of reliability and data quality, with clear performance specifications.
